Job Title: Accounts Payable and Utility Billing Supervisor

Job Type: Full-Time Salary

Experience Required:  2-5 years of utility billing Education required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance, Business Administration or related field.

Job Description: Utility Billing Supervisor and Accounts Payable responsible for financial reporting, oversees customer service department duties related to utility billing and performs accounts payable functions. This position oversees day-to-day operations of the district’s billing systems, ensures accurate vendor payments and financial documentation, and provides supervisory support to front-desk and clerical personnel. The role is essential to maintaining accurate fiscal records, promoting efficiency in the district’s operations.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Bilingual preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of municipal accounting, purchasing, and utility billing principles, and financial procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software.
  • Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with staff, vendors.
  • Ability to supervise staff and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.

Job Title: Inventory Clerk

Department: Operations

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Clerk to support inventory control and administrative operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate inventory records, preparing reports, and ensuring smooth day-to-day inventory workflows. The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working with data, and able to assist in both office and warehouse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular data entry and updates
  • Assist with inventory counts, audits, and reconciliation
  • Prepare inventory reports and tracking documents
  • Enter purchase orders, receipts, and adjustments into inventory systems
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff to resolve discrepancies
  • Organize inventory-related documentation and files
  • Support inventory management and operations teams as needed
  • Perform general administrative duties related to inventory control


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Experience in inventory, administrative support, or a related role
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy

Job Title: Utility Technician

Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Water Distribution and Collection Worker to join our team at Paseo Del Este MUD. In this role, you will assist with the operation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of the District’s water distribution and wastewater collection systems. This position plays an important part in ensuring reliable service, regulatory compliance, and safe working conditions for the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repair of water distribution lines, valves, hydrants, meters.
  • Assist with maintenance, inspection, and repair of wastewater collection lines, manholes, and lift stations.
  • Operate equipment, tools, and service vehicles necessary for field operations.
  • Conduct line locates, flushing, valve exercising, sewer cleaning, and other preventative maintenance activities.
  • Record field activities, maintenance work, inspections, and findings accurately.
  • Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Assist with emergency response for water or sewer service interruptions, backups, and related issues.
  • Support other field projects and duties as assigned.
  • May require after-hours, weekend, or emergency call-out response as needed.


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather and field conditions.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, digging, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and maintenance practices.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.


Preferred:

  • Experience in water distribution, wastewater collection, utility maintenance, or public works.
  • Knowledge of water and wastewater system operations.
  • Experience operating light and heavy equipment.
  • TCEQ water or wastewater license, or ability to obtain one within a required timeframe.
  • CDL license is a plus.

Job Title: Field Worker

Role Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Field Worker to join our team at Paseo Del Este MUD. In this role, you will play a part in executing on-the-ground projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute project tasks in collaboration with team members and community stakeholders.
  • Provide support in organizing and leading community outreach efforts and educational programs
  • Maintain accurate records of field activities, observations and findings.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and the communities we serve, building strong relationships and trust.


Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work in various outdoor environments and conditions.


Preferred:

  • Previous experience in field work.
  • Knowledge of local environment issues and community resources.
